Justin Peterson is Managing Partner of DCI Group, a communications and public affairs consulting firm based in Washington, D.C.  During his tenure of leadership, DCI Group has grown to become one of the largest independently-owned firms of its kind in the United States.

Justin leads DCI Group’s energy practice, and has advised senior executives in the oil and natural gas industry for more than two decades.  His portfolio of work includes directing campaigns for the successful development of energy-related infrastructure projects.  He has more than a decade of experience advising clients in the financial sector, serving as an advisor to investors in a number of high-profile situations including Argentina, General Motors, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.

Prior to DCI, Justin worked as a Republican political operative. In the 2000 election cycle, he served as Iowa Political Director for Secretary Elizabeth Dole’s campaign for president, and later worked in that crucial state for President George W. Bush’s campaign. A native of Nebraska, Justin got his start in politics working for former Rep. Jon Christensen of Nebraska.  He currently resides in Washington with his family.
