OVERSIGHT BOARD TO REVIEW COMMONWEALTH AND UPR FISCAL PLANS DURING PUBLIC BOARD MEETING ON OCTOBER 23
(San Juan, PR – October 16, 2018) – The Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico (the “Oversight Board”) created by Congress under the bipartisan Puerto Rico Oversight, Management and Economic Stability Act (“PROMESA” or the “Act”) confirmed today that it will hold a public meeting to review the fiscal plans of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
The meeting will be the 15th public meeting the Oversight Board has held since its inception and will take place in the Puerto Rico Convention Center, room 208, beginning at 8:30 AM.
The preregistration form, as well as the required security and attendance protocol, is available at the Board’s website: www.oversightboard.pr.gov. Those interested in attending have until Friday, October 19 at 5:00 PM to complete the preregistration form. The meeting will be livestreamed via the Board’s website and its audio will be available in both English and Spanish.
The recorded meeting will be posted on the website as soon as possible after the meeting.
