Oversight Board to hold Public Hearing on Education
(San Juan, PR – November 7, 2019) – The Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico confirmed today that it will hold a Public Hearing on the topic of Education next Wednesday, November 13, 2019 beginning at 9:00 AM. The event will take place at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, 100 Convention Boulevard in San Juan, rooms 208 and 209.
Attendees include: Eligio Hernández Pérez, Secretary of Education; Carmen Warren, president of Comité Timón; Aida Díaz, past president of the Teacher’s Association of Puerto Rico; Carlos Rodríguez, executive director of Fundación Flamboyán and Enid Reyes, executive director of the Puerto Rico Education Foundation, among others.
The hearing will be open to the public and require pre-registration by Tuesday, November 12th at noon. The event will stream live via the Board’s website and the audio will be available in both, English and Spanish. The recording will be posted at the website as soon as possible following the hearing.
